Nutiva is the best selling brand and the large amount of reviews is a good quality indication. Most of the postive reviews mentions how they feel energized and healthy after using this product. Also mentioned, is how it can be used to make a healthy protein shake.
Most of the negative comments are about the texture and taste, of the protein powder. This seems to be the main problem area for any hemp protein product. Some people simply have a hard time getting used to it. of Also mentioned, in a couple of the comments, are the magnesium in the product, which works as a laxative. Apparently, this has resulted in an upset stomach, for some of the costumers.

“I bought this brand because the normal brand I buy is out of stock on amazon. This brand is not as fine a powder and so it does not stir into liquid. As soon as you stop stirring or blending it all drops to the bottom. Then when you drink it, the last gulp is all ’sand’ that gets stuck in your teeth. “I had to switch from this Nutiva product to another hemp product (Manitoba Harvest which I buy at Whole Foods) because this product has way too much magnesium in it (48%). Magnesium works like a laxative. That is great if you need that kind of help, but if you don’t, it can upset your stomach or at least that has been my experience with it.
